WELCOME!
NAOMI is a community
where healing happens and lives flourish.
We provide a pathway of support, direction and healing to women and children enduring trauma. For the many who are alone, we journey with them as they heal from trauma, learn invaluable life-skills, and experience healthy community.
Through the compassion of our donors, volunteers, and staff, women and their children are equipped to love and live well.
2004
THE JOURNEY BEGAN
We began our journey in 2004 under the name Hearth Homes where we began serving homeless mothers and children with transitional housing and support services for substance abuse recovery.
2019
PIVOTING & GROWTH
We opened the door for more women and children to begin their healing journey when we discontinued transitional housing and expanded our support services to serve ANY woman seeking growth and healing.
2024
CURRENTLY
Today we continue to be a community where healing happens and lives flourish. What began as a haven for only a few women has grown to a community of nearly a hundred women and children seeking support, direction and healing as they overcome addiction, homelessness, abusive relationships and isolation.
As we grew in our understanding of the healing power of relationships, we changed our name to NAOMI to reflect our desire to journey with women as they heal.
Our name is inspired from the biblical account of Ruth and Naomi— two women who suffered great loss and trauma but chose to support, encourage and serve one another as they journeyed on the path of healing and rebuilt their lives.
Today NAOMI provides support and direction for nearly 100 women and children enduring trauma.
This is the grace-filled mission of NAOMI.
What makes us different?
-
Our volunteers and staff not only know the pain of watching someone endure trauma, but many have also walked their own journey of healing.
-
We understand the damage trauma causes in the mind, body, and soul. Our extensive training in proven research-based methods provides whole-person healing.

Since 2004, 100’s of women have discovered the opportunity for a life they never thought was possible.
