Your partnership fuels our mission.
THANK YOU
NAOMI is a community that provides a safe haven for mothers, daughters, and children enduring trauma.
For the many who are alone, we journey with them as they heal from trauma, learn invaluable life-skills, and experience healthy community.
Through the compassion of our donors, volunteers, and staff, women and their children are equipped to love and live well.
JOURNEY WITH US
Your financial support of NAOMI provides the resources needed to journey with women in practical, physical, and emotional ways as they heal from trauma and discover they have choices that will allow them to thrive.
We could not do what we do without your generosity!

The NAOMI Endowment Fund provides security and sustainability to our mission of transforming lives. No matter the size of your gift, as the fund grows, so does your impact. Each year, the proceeds of this fund propels our mission to provide support and direction for women and children enduring trauma. Help us reach our goal of $500,000 by 2025 to see more women and children freed from cycles of poverty, abuse and dependence.
Legacy Spotlight

"…so long as it helps mothers.”
— Marti Hollenback, Real Estate Gift
Marti Hollenback was known throughout the Greater Spokane area as the dynamic owner of Dishman Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Her leadership of Dishman Dodge always demonstrated generosity and care for the people in our community--especially women and children.
In 2017, Marti saw a unique way to come alongside the NAOMI Mission: By donating a small piece of land that no longer served a purpose, she and Dishman Dodge, catapulted NAOMI into our expansion, doubling the capacity for serving women and children. When asked how she would like the land used, she replied “however you want, so long as it helps mothers.” Marti was passionate about supporting moms that were experiencing hardship on top of the most challenging role in their lives. Thanks to Marti’s generosity and creative giving, NAOMI sold the land and campaigned to raise enough funds to purchase a duplex and, in 2019, was able to purchase a fourplex and serve more women and children than ever before.

“We’ve been blessed and want to bless others.”
— Steve Wedel Memorial Fund
Steve’s generosity during his lifetime allowed NAOMI to expand our homes and create more safe spaces for women and children to emerge from cycles of homelessness, trauma, and poverty. When Steve suddenly passed in 2017, NAOMI established a memorial fund to sow seeds that will forever sustain the NAOMI mission and transform the lives of women and children we serve in honor of Steve. If you, like Steve, feel blessed and want to bless others in perpetuity, consider establishing your own fund to leave a lasting legacy or contributing a gift to the existing fund in Steve’s honor.
Consider the lives you will impact in perpetuity by leaving an end-of-life gift to NAOMI and your other favorite nonprofits.
While few of us consider ourselves wealthy, most of us have enough to share with our communities. Nearly everyone in our region has enough to share, especially when we look beyond cash on hand. Our potential to benefit our community through end-of-life gifts can be significant if we look at our homes and real estate holdings, retirement and other investment accounts, businesses and life insurance.
